Pens, pads, balloons ✏🎈 ... are left over from the 2020 election campaign. So that they can still be put to good use, the leftovers will now go to the ACD Togo association, which supports children in Togo. Anyone who learns to write needs pen and paper. And balloons are just fun 😊Thanks Gerlinde Mathes for the mediation.

Zero Hunger Run Challenge

Our first board member (Aimé Quamdessou) took part in the ZeroHungerRun Challenge, organized by Welthungerhilfe. In doing so, on behalf of our association, he has given an important signal against starvation in the world, as this threat is still present despite everything and must not be ignored. In Togo, many people still suffer from hunger, for which we as an association also work to ensure that this problem can be fought.

Covid-19 fundraiser

The corona pandemic is currently hitting the entire world very hard and Togo is not spared. The poor health care has an additional contribution to the fact that it is difficult for the people there to fight this pandemic. We as a non-profit organization would like to help in this difficult time that the people there are better off, so we have already collected some donations that have already arrived in Togo, but more donations are needed and we would be happy if you helped us support to help the people in Togo.

DWLF visits Togo

Acdtogo traveled to Togo with Dwlf for another assignment. Dwlf represented four dentists and four assistants from Switzerland. We spent a total of 2 weeks treating patients in the best possible way. In the first week we were only in Aného while in the second week we also spent in Aného and Tsévié. On Thursday, AcDTogo and Dwlf visited schools in Aného and Tsévié, where we brought the donations we had brought with us for dental care and the children were taught how to properly brush their teeth. In a total of 7.5 working days, 296 patients were treated and 325 extrations were performed, mostly surgical. In addition, 45 fillings were placed, an endodontic treatment and 28 prophylactic treatments were carried out. In the course of the mission, Acdtogo donated materials to the two hospitals in Aného, which were received by the respective directors.
